Daniel (Dan) Hollingsworth is the Principal of N1 Strategy Inc.,and provides advisory services to businesses for growth and transition. He also leads the economic development services and project management for clients. Dan is also the Vice President of N1 Solutions Inc., a business management group that owns and operates four companies in Northern Ontario. He has successfully scaled companies through creating organizational teams and attracting new clients.
Prior to launching N1 Strategy Inc., Dan led the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation as the Executive Director and subsequently managed the Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie's Economic Development division. In 2018, Dan assumed the responsibility of Tourism Sault Ste. Marie. Dan worked at FedNor Industry Canada for 13 years. During his term with the federal government's Northern Ontario economic development organization, he was responsible for the development of key portfolios and developing community-based initiatives.
In 1998 through 2001, Dan was the President of RAPIDS Community Investment Inc., a non-profit organization aimed at improving the accessibility of risk financing for growth-oriented firms in Sault Ste. Marie. Prior to that, he was a Regional Manager with NORCAM Currency Exchange Ltd., based in London Ontario for 6 years.
Dan is a well-recognized leader in Northern Ontario and is known for his skills in strategic and business planning, scaling companies, managing transition, building organizational teams and helping entrepreneurs with accessing financial support and capital.
Jennifer King-Callon is the Managing Director of N1 Strategy Inc. and provides tourism, economic and business development support to clients and partners. With over 20 years in the tourism and hospitality industry in high-level tourism programming, product development, marketing, sales and hospitality roles, Jennifer is ready to offer clients strategic advisory and consulting services. Jennifer will also offer Business and Economic Development expertise with a lens on Indigenous Tourism businesses, leveraging her experience as Northern Ontario Business Advisor with Indigenous Tourism Ontario.
In her current role with N1 Strategy Inc., Jennifer provides business development and advisory support to businesses and communities across Northern Ontario (North Bay to Thunder Bay). Her expertise is focused on both tourism and economic/business development perspectives. Many projects across the region are led through N1 Strategy's Inc.'s guidance to small-to medium-size businesses for expansion plans.
Jennifer's is a lead with Indigenous Tourism Ontario as a Northern Ontario Business Advisor. She provides the opportunity guidance for tourism business-to-business support for First Nation members. The goal of Jennifer's role is to build sustainable and economic growth within the First Nation member's communities. In Jennifer's previous experience as Director of Tourism Sault Ste. Marie, the key priority was to bring stakeholders with a common vision together to ensure the city was moving forward in a positive and sustainable direction.
John Febbraro is the Senior Manager of Business Development and Advisory Services at N1 Strategy Inc, and he possesses extensive expertise both in administrative/business management and technical fields since 1984. He has worked within government, private, and industrial environments. This includes all areas of program and quality management practises, investment attraction, marketing, strategic planning, evaluation, policy/procedure development and implementation, budget development, supervision, negotiations, facilitation, sales, and scheduling.
John retired after spending 20 years with the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation and the City of Sault Ste. Marie as the Director of Business Development, supporting companies in Northern Ontario involved with mining, forestry, manufacturing, energy, and aviation. His retirement was short-lived, as he joined under N1 Strategy Inc. in 2021. John was also the President of a small business consulting group in Sault Ste. Marie that was heavily involved in business consulting, advisory and developing quality management systems. He has also held positions in Ottawa with the Canadian Space Agency and EH Industries in a program management capacity.
John has served on many Boards and brings with him excellent governance, problem solving, analytical and timely decision-making skills coupled with excellent writing skills for project proposals, government applications and communication pieces for reporting purposes.
